Furusato

Furusato began with a simple act: recording my father’s oral history. He was five years old when he was sent to Manzanar, and it was clear there was more to connect and unearth. What do we do with his story, and the stories of more than 120,000 others? How do we honor them? Through art and activism, Furusato explores intergenerational healing.
